Common parent questions
What can my child study at Peace Home?
Peace Home publishes a Maktab course, part-time Hifz, the Sanatayn Alimiyyah Foundation Course, Arabic Studies, and weekend Maths, English and Science tuition. Online learning is also listed. The team can confirm which options currently run at your preferred centre.
What ages does Peace Home teach?
Peace Home’s Maktab course is published for ages 5–12. Its two-year Sanatayn Alimiyyah Foundation Course is published for boys and girls aged 14+. Entry ages and levels for Hifz, Arabic, academic tuition and online learning vary, so share the learner’s age and current level when you enquire.
What does a child learn in Maktab and Madrasah?
The Maktab curriculum includes Qaidah, Juz Amma, Qur’an and Tajweed; aqaa’id, fiqh and Islamic studies; Surah and dua memorisation; and akhlaaq wal adaab. Ask the team how levels are organised and how progress is shared with parents.
Where are the Peace Home centres?
Peace Home has centres in Beckton, Gants Hill, Manor Park, Redbridge, Stepney and Upton Park. Use the Centres page for addresses and maps, then confirm that your chosen programme is running at that location before travelling.
When do classes run?
Peace Home is an evening and weekend supplementary school and madrasah. Exact teaching days and times depend on the programme and centre, so the team will confirm the current timetable for your child when you enquire.
When are assessments and school holidays?
Peace Home uses an annual academic calendar with assessment or exam periods and scheduled holidays. Dates can differ by centre and change each year, so enrolled families receive the current calendar for their location rather than relying on dates published permanently online.
Who leads Peace Home and how are classes arranged?
Peace Home names MD Tajul Islam as principal and founder, MD Shorif Uddin as head teacher for Upton Park, and Nazim Uddin as head teacher for Manor Park. Its current website describes learning in small groups but does not publish a class-size number. Ask who would teach your child’s class and which qualifications are relevant to that programme.
How much are the fees and when are they paid?
Fees are generally collected quarterly. Current amounts and payment dates are not published online because arrangements may vary by programme, centre and academic year. When you enquire, ask Peace Home to confirm the tuition fee, quarterly schedule, any registration charge and whether a sibling discount or concession applies before you commit.
What safeguarding and collection arrangements apply?
Peace Home’s public website does not yet explain its safeguarding, DBS, child-collection or online-safety arrangements in enough detail. Before registering, ask the team to provide the current arrangements for your programme and centre, including who to contact if you have a concern.
What happens after I enquire?
Start with your child’s age or school year, current level, programme of interest and preferred centre. Peace Home can then discuss the most suitable class and confirm the timetable, fees, availability and next registration step.
